Kitten surprised me today when she bought tickets for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, when I knew she didn’t wanted to watch it….thanks dear, *muacks*

Question: when did Singapore’s main dialect became Cantonese?

Frankly, I had low expectations before I’ve caught the movie, mainly due to friends’ below-than-average reviews. Of course, if you’re looking for a fun-filled movie, then Part 3 would be a disappointment. Despite having a longer airtime (168 minutes), there isn’t as much laughs compared to Part 2.

But if you’re looking for a conclusion to a trilogy, then you won’t be disappointed with all the loose ends being tied up at the conclusion.

P.S: There’s something at the end of the credits…though it isn’t that much of a fantastic scene.

Rating: 4 out of 5 (Arrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhhh)

Let me take a break from the daily dosage of soccer games, and give my extremely-late-review on already-concluded Yahoo EPL Fantasy Soccer.

My 6th year in YFF, and it was a good season, but not great. Being 68th in the world is quite an achievement, unfortunately that wasn’t good enough for me to do a 3-peat in my private Hobo League, due to the impressive performance from Ashburton Grove, who finished 6th in the world.

Best ever Hobo-Cup run saw me ending up in the Semis, losing to eventual champion roberttty. So close, yet so far…

At least my trophy cabinet isn’t bare for this season.

Lucky for me, Kitten didn’t mind having this geeky boyfriend being ‘obsessed’ with this game. Perhaps I can be like Leslie, who persuaded his girlfriend to join in the fun. We can even have a 2-on-2 challenge next season! (Although it won’t be much of a fun, since I already know who the winner would be…)

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the blog owner will be posting less posts in the upcoming few weeks.
