3 more points in the tough fight for the UEFA Cup spots, though I’m pretty pissed off at Liverboo for fielding a 2nd-string side, and allowing Portsmouth to walk away with 3 easy points.
Guess you’ll know which side I’ll be supporting on Wednesday morning.

Read an article in SmartInvestor – Feb 07 Issue, about an article on “Tips on financing your wedding plans”.
The author estimates the wedding expenses in today’s dollars, with a few assumptions
1) Simple wedding band (w/o diamonds) – $400 [Cash]
2) Dowry requested by parents-in-laws – $1,000 [Cash]
3) Bridal package (avg. price) – $3,000 [Cash]
4) Wedding banquet (Hotel, $700/table) with ROM Ceremony – $23,500 [Cash]
5) Honeymoon package (NZ Tour, Insurance, Gifts) – $5,000 [Cash]
6) Matrimonial home (downpayment of a Punggol 5-room flat) – $23,000 [50% Cash, 50% CPF]
7) Renovations / Furnitures / Appliances – $35,000 [Cash].

Brought Kitten to Beaver’s at Liang Seah Street to catch the Spurs-Scums match, giving her to opportunity to soak on the atmosphere with the rest of the Singapore Spurs Supporters’ Club.
Despite getting a draw, it was worrying to see Spurs’ woeful defending on set-piece play & inability to play to their best for 90 minutes.
But hey, at least there’s something to cheer about.

Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day is an annual event, held in late April or early May, in which Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops give out free ice cream cones all day. Over one million free cones are given away each year. Charitable organizations are often present at the stores each year and enjoy a significant amount of fundraising success.
The first Free Cone Day was held on May 5, 1979. It was done by Ben and Jerry as a customer and staff appreciation event for the one year anniversary of their ice cream store’s opening, and has continued ever since.

I can’t even see the front from where I’m queuing!
Starting queuing up before my dear arrived 5 minutes later. I’m impressed with the efficiency of the staff at B&J. The queue was constantly moving, ensuring everyone getting their free cones with minimal waiting. It took me 15 minutes to get my cone. Thumbs Up, guys!
Perhaps other places should take note on how to effectively manage a huge crowd of freebies-grabbers…

Today’s New Paper Headline: Singapore Radio DJs (Vernon A & Justin Ang of Perfect 10) challenge FHM model wannabes to unhook their bras the quickest while keeping their shirt on.

On Monday, I cooked for my dear…Hmm, didn’t sound right. Let me rephrase that…..
On Monday, I’ve fried Ham Jim Bang with my dear at Maxwell.
Yea, I’m suaku….1st time heard of such things, k? Luckily my dear was there, else all of my food will become charcoal black.

For those few who knew, I actually went to see an eye specialist yesterday, due to blurred visions experienced in the last 2 weeks.
If I experienced some bright flashes (e.g. shining of spotlight) my right eye will see a black spot, which slowly grows,\ and causing temporary blurred vision, accompanied with nauseousness.
The eye specialist examined my eyes, and found no cause of concern. The likely cause is most likely migraines, he mentioned. If everything goes well these few weeks, I won’t be needing to pay a visit next month.
No worries. I’m still alive & kicking.
